Tire Chains Clearance

The space needed to clear the frame or fenders can be gained by simply reversing the wheel on the hub to take advantage of the wheel offset.
(check with your dealer or tractor manufacturer for any tractor specific recommendations)

Shown below is has an offset of 3 3/4" or 9"




For Lawn and Garden Tractors and ATV, check your your owner's manual, vehicle manufacture or dealer to confirm adequate clearance.
Below is a picture of a front tire clearance problem. There is not enough clearance between
the steering rod end and the tire for the chains.
